Motivosity Named Among Utah’s 100 Fastest-Growing Companies by MountainWest Capital Network

LEHI, Utah, Sept. 17, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Motivosity, a leading employee recognition and rewards platform built for human connection, has been named among Utah’s 100 fastest-growing companies in the annual Utah 100 Awards presented by MountainWest Capital Network (MWCN), Utah’s largest business networking organization.

The Utah 100 recognizes companies demonstrating sustained business growth and capital development across the state. Rankings are based on a weighted average of percentage and dollar growth over a five-year period, providing an independent measure of long-term business performance.

For Motivosity, the recognition reflects five years of growth built around a people-first approach to employee recognition. While much of the recognition technology market has focused on automating rewards, Motivosity has centered its platform on helping employees build stronger connections with one another, their managers and their organizations.

“The Utah 100 is based on five years of revenue growth, but that growth came from customers who chose a people-first approach over the status quo,” said Scott Johnson, CEO and Founder of Motivosity. “Most recognition vendors sell rewards. We build connection. This award tells me the market is seeing and feeling the difference, and I couldn't be prouder of the team that made it happen.”

Motivosity customer data shows an average platform adoption rate of 95%, along with an average 52% increase in employee Net Promoter Score and a 42% improvement in retention. Customers also report 18 times more recognition engagement than other vendors and 2.3 times more engaged and loyal employees among platform users.

The recognition comes as employers face growing challenges around employee connection and engagement. Motivosity’s 2026 research found that 52% of workers feel lonely at work, while Gallup reported in 2026 that 69% of employees are either passive or actively disengaged.

As remote and hybrid work have become established parts of the modern workplace, organizations are increasingly looking for ways to strengthen relationships, recognition and belonging. Motivosity’s growth during this period reflects the company’s focus on addressing those challenges through frequent, personal and accessible employee recognition.

“Recognition is more than a reward,” Johnson said. “When employees feel connected to their people and their company, organizations create an environment where people want to contribute and stay.”

Motivosity will be recognized alongside other leading Utah businesses at the Utah 100 event in November, where more than 1,000 business leaders are expected to attend. The final ranking will be announced at the event on November 13.
